Kids bikes have always been popular regardless of the generation using them. Just like you enjoyed riding bikes thirty years ago, so does your child enjoy riding them today. It is for this reason that kids bikes have often be used in movies throughout the years. We had a look around and found our favourite iconic movie moments with kids bikes.

1. E.T Flying Bike Moment: The scene where little Elliot is riding next the moon with his little alien friend is iconic. This scene has been copied and been reproduced through hundreds of movies since then. No-one will ever forgot this old bike.
2. Escape to Adventure in “The Goonies” (1985): The Goonies is about a group of friends who find out their homes are going to be destroyed. They find an old treasure map but they know their parents won’t let them go on this adventure. So they trick their older brother and use their bikes to go on the new adventure!
3. The Wizard of Oz & Miss. Gulch: Sure it’s not technically a kids bike but The Wizard of Oz. Is one of the best kid movies of all time! We just love to see bicycles represented in movies.
4. Pee Wee’s Big Adventure: In Pee Wee’s Big Adventure he tries to do a bunch of tricks while enjoying the audience of several young cyclists. Extremely funny, even though it was filmed in 1985!!
5. The Muppet Movie : When it comes to the Muppet shows bicycles have always been featured with their little puppets. It’s always picked as their favourite mode of transportation. The first instance ever of a Muppet riding a bicycle was filmed in the movie called “The Muppets Valentine Show ”.
