I have just bought a strider balance bike for my Grandson Thomas who is 2 years 5 months. I am very pleased with my purchase and so is he! A lovely sturdy well made bike which he has mastered very quickly. I have looked at many others including wooden ones but I think the strider is the best. I would thoroughly recommend this bike especially to little boys. Well done. Many thanks. Thomas's Granny.

We bought our son a Strider PREbike for his 2nd birthday. It was the only balance bike that would fit his tiny inside leg! After just three outings he has now got the hang of the bike and can push himself along quite confidently.
As with any 2 year old he sometimes wants to do something else instead. This is ok as the bike is very light - easy to carry in one hand.We are very happy with his Strider PREbike and have had a lot of interest in town when we are out and about.

Strider PREbike is a fantastic little bike, that REALLY lives up to its claims! I bought two of these for my 3 and 4 year olds, and even after a few short moments, they were speeding around the house! It was a couple of days before we ventured outside, as I hadn't bought helmets for the boys, but once I had, they really came into their own. Whereas before they would lag behind on their trikes, now they're storming ahead. SO much confidence! AMAZING ability! To watch my 3 year old, coasting down a small hill, feet up, balancing beautifully - unbelievable! I really do believe that these Striders will make the transition to a `big boy' bike relatively seamless, as the basics of balance will already be there.
I wholeheartedly recommend these to any child.

The Strider PREbike™ is an exciting alternative to the "baby bikes" that our son didn't want to ride any longer, such as big wheels and tricycles. It is sturdy, easy to use, and an awesome bike for young kids who can't reach the pedals on a "traditional bike". It is a huge confidence builder for large motor skills. It's also a fun tool for outdoor activity that the whole family can enjoy; now we don't have to wait for the kids to be older as with most other types of sports. Our son thinks it's "cool" and tells everyone he can ride a bike!
Both of our children are learning balance, and Avendah, who is older, is gaining needed confidence because she has control. She, too, is now telling her grandparents and friends that she is learning to ride a bike. We wish we would have had a Strider PREbike™ for both of our kids when they were two!!
This is the best toy-learning tool-you can provide for your children. It fosters their love of being outside sooner than later in their early development and is great exercise. It has replaced the "blankie" for my youngest, Dane. He loves it and we have to take it wherever we go because he will ride it anywhere.

This summer, Nicolas turned three and we moved him from his tricycle to his bicycle with training wheels. It took a good month for him to understand the fundamentals of steering, braking and speed. By the end of the summer, he was pretty good little rider. We never took off his training wheels, but if a child was at the park with his bike without training wheels, he would give it a try. For the most part it was an unsuccessful attempt to bike because Nicolas was too concerned about balance and falling even though I was holding on to him and his bicycle. Mid-September we were looking around a bike store and found this odd little bike the Strider PREbike™. He immediately tried it, liked it, and by his third attempt was pretty successful cruising around the store. Overnight, we thought about it, watched the online videos of the kids and purchased it the next day. In about two weeks time he had pretty much mastered the Strider PREbike™, steering, braking (his feet), speed, and now balance. He was able to go up and down hills and mountain bike various trails and paths. Out of the blue, I decided to take his training wheels off his pedal bike. He jumped on his pedal bike and just went. Basically, no training, no holding on to the bike (no back pain) and I deserve no credit. After using the Strider PREbike™, he understood balance and was not afraid to put his foot down or just keep pedalling. I don't know many 3.3 year olds pedalling the streets without training wheels and mountain biking the hills with his Strider PREbike™.

Just wanted to share my Strider PREbike™ success story. I have 2 year old twins (Aidan and Jocelyn) and last Spring I saw the Strider PREbike™ videos and knew I had to have them for my kids. I am an avid cyclist and was anxious to get them on two wheels as soon as they were ready. I bought the bikes right away and was excited for the kids to try them out. At first they were not sure what to think and really found it challenging to ride them. Granted they were just over 2 years old. I decided they would ride them when they wanted and left it at that. Meanwhile they continued to ride their trikes for a few months until I showed them the Strider PREbike™ videos on your website. That very day, my son said, "I want to ride my Strider PREbike™ likes the kids on the video," so off we went. Within a couple days he was starting to get the hang of it. Now just barely 1-2 weeks later, he is flying!! He absolutely loves it. I am surprised how he can manuever it through tall grass, gravel, pavement, and dirt. Apparently the geometry and weight is just right. He also likes popping wheelies. I realized tonight though that I need the brakes because we went for a ride down a little hill and he was cruising and had to stop with his feet. It worked find but would have been easier with the optional brake. Now, my daughter (who loves her trike) is asking to ride her pink Strider PREbike™. Life is good! Thanks.

I was walking through the park one day with two friends and their not-quite-three year old son. The child had his Strider PREbike™. The boy got running pretty well along a straight, flat ribbon of concrete bike path. The father was trotting along behind and not quite keeping up. I wondered how a not-quite-three year old could move a bike with no pedals as fast as a grown man could move at a quick trot.
The boy was actually running along with a good portion of his weight supported on the low-friction bike frame. There was enough moisture around that we could see the line of the Strider PREbike™ running bike tires and the marks of the little foot prints, more than 6 feet apart. I was amazed!
If you were to say a two-three year old's running stride is approximately 2 feet and his running speed remains the same, then this little boy was moving at three times his running speed!

Although struggling with a bike with training wheels, Tristan could balance the Strider PREbike™ with his feet up the first day! The Strider PREbike™ will make training wheels obsolete.
The Strider PREbike™ is super light and a well thought out design. The foot brake teaches him fundamentals of motorcycle braking. Tristan can practice wheelies, stoppies, jumping and his favorite-skid marks. He can do ten times the things he could do on a bicycle and wants to take it everywhere.

The Strider PREbike™ is amazing! At 2 years, my son took right to it, and it was fun to watch him learn to ride and stride so quickly. I was amazed at how he learned to balance and ride fast in such a short time. At age 3 he learned to ride his pedal bike without training wheels in one day. He currently rides both his bike and Strider PREbike™. He especially loves his Strider PREbike™ in the woods, at dirt parks, BMX tracks, skate parks, etc. I can go for walks anywhere at a good pace with my son on his Strider PREbike™. We both get good exercise and he has a blast! He enjoys riding it alone at home in the fields and woods and he enjoys riding with other kids anywhere! And he loves doing "tricks" on his Strider PREbike™.

The Strider PREbike™ is a revolutionary idea. It gets rid of the need for training wheels. It has done all that it says it can do for our children and more; it teaches balance and confidence. It's fun and our sons are learning so much about their little bodies. One is not athletically inclined, yet he loves to ride and learn how to use this bike more than his big wheel or bike with training wheels. That fact alone is really encouraging and speaks volumes. The Strider PREbike™ makes family activities fun for everyone; we can go on trails and unpaved bike paths and our boys can keep up with an adult pace with less effort on their part.

Ethan loves the Strider PREbike™, because he can go anywhere with it (not just the sidewalk). We love it because when we go for walks, he rides it and can keep up with us (actually go faster than us!).

The Strider PREbike™ is an incredible tool for toddlers. It allows them to learn how to steer and balance a bike without the need for training wheels.
After about five months of riding the Strider PREbike™, Alex is now a pro! He cruises along faster than we can keep up with. It is amazing how he has learned to ride before he is even two and half years old. Awesome!
Alex will be years ahead of his peers in development of his gross motor skills and reasoning ability thanks to the Strider PREbike™.
The Strider PREbike™ keeps Alex's interest and is also a not-stop learning tool that incorporates physical activity. This has been a huge benefit for us as parents.
